Here at Vitaquest, we remain committed to delivering what’s next to our customers and employees. In 2022, we were proud to introduce several new pieces of state-of-the-art technology that improved safety, quality, and efficiency.
The Stokes 720 Double Tablet Compression Machine
Though tablets may be small, they require a complex multi-stage manufacturing process. This new compression technology made it possible to compress raw materials into hundreds of thousands of tablets per hour, eliminating many of the common defects found with traditional compression methods. This new machine prevents capping, lamination, sticking, and picking. Plus, it keeps our employees safe with OSHA-approved safety interlocks. Learn More
The Enclony Planet 6G-TC Automated Tablet & Capsule Inspection Machine
This new machine revolutionizes nutraceutical manufacturing and inspection by automating our quality assurance AQL process. Manual tablet and capsule inspection methods are replaced by ten interdependent cameras, allowing us to produce an additional 140,000 units per hour. Thanks to this development, the tablet and capsule inspection process has become faster, more accurate, and more cost-efficient. Learn More
A New Safety Program
Employee safety is our number one priority, so we were thrilled to welcome workforce safety veteran Dan Franzen to the newly created role of Senior Manager of Environmental Health & Safety. Dan has created safety committees, re-training programs, and the new “Safety Takes Two” initiative, which rewards employees for demonstrating their knowledge of our safety program. Learn More
The NuGenesis® LIMS
The NuGenesis® LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) combines synergistic data, workflow, and sample management capabilities to support our entire supplement product development lifecycle, allowing us to manage and record the 7,000+ ingredient samples our lab collects every year. It also drastically reduced our paper trail and improved our commitment to sustainability. (See more below!) Learn More
PL-500 Drum Inverters
In early 2022, we installed two new PL-500 Drum Inverters at our 100 Jefferson manufacturing facility. They help our manufacturing team carry out a clean and secure transfer of our powdered supplement products. Our output increased by 10%-15% with this new technology, and as we produce over five million retail units of powdered products every year, this increased efficiency is vital to our customer experience. Sustainability
SustainabilityWe develop products for our clients that enhance the health and wellness of consumers. However, health and wellness start with the planet we call home. We remain committed to sustainability through fair-trade ingredients, 100% recycled corrugated packaging, and a solar energy system at our HQ. Our new LIMS system allowed us to eliminate 96 filing cabinets (and counting!) by cutting down on our paper usage.

In 2022, we designed and developed a first-of-its-kind product for our Vitaquest family! The new VQ Multivitamins are available to our employees so that they can reach their nutritional goals and live healthier lives!
Monthly Fresh Fruit Baskets
Every month, our employees receive fresh fruit baskets that they can enjoy. Apples, bananas, oranges, and other seasonal and delicious fruits are available for all.
